
BC Summer Games
Sixteen NTFC Midget athletes were selected to the Zone 6 Athletics team roster for the 2018 Cowichan Valley BC Summer Games in July. Head Coach and NTFC President Tyler Heisterman was the Zone 6 Athletics Head Coach assisted by Coaches Wanda Urbanowicz and Maddy Heisterman. With the help of other NTFC and Vancouver Island coaches, the Zone 6 team of 54 attended a day long training camp at the Rotary Bowl on July 11 before heading to the Games from July 19-22.
Below are Club results from two unforgettable days of competition ... with special mention to Olivia Lundman, who broke the BC Games 1500m Race Walk record in a time of 7:22:41. Congratulations Olivia!
